Welcome to DualCamVideo ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application. DualCamVideo is a dual-format video recording tool designed to record landscape (16:9) and portrait (9:16) videos simultaneously.

We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency about our data practices. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. DualCamVideo is designed to operate entirely offline and on-device. Specifically:

We do not collect personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, etc.)
We do not collect usage or analytics data
We do not collect location data
We do not collect device identifiers for tracking purposes
We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
We do not collect crash reports or diagnostics automatically

3. Device Permissions

DualCamVideo requires certain device permissions to function. These permissions are used exclusively for the App's core recording functionality and are never used to collect or transmit data:

You may revoke any of these permissions at any time through your device's Settings > DualCamVideo. Revoking camera or microphone permissions will prevent the App from recording.

4. Data Storage

All recorded videos (both landscape and portrait formats) are stored locally in the App's sandboxed Documents directory on your device.
Video files are stored in standard MP4 format (H.264 encoding).
The App provides in-app video management features (view, share, delete). Deleted videos are permanently removed from your device.
No data is stored on external servers, cloud services, or any location outside your device.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share any data with third parties.
We do not sell, rent, or trade any information.
When you use the iOS Share Sheet to share videos, the sharing is handled entirely by the iOS operating system. We have no access to or control over where you choose to share your content.

6. Third-Party Services and SDKs

DualCamVideo integrates the following open-source library for video filter processing:

MetalPetal (MIT License) — A GPU-accelerated image/video processing framework. This library operates entirely on-device and does not collect, transmit, or store any user data.

The App does not integrate: - Analytics or crash reporting SDKs - Advertising networks or ad SDKs - Social media SDKs - Any network-dependent services

7. Children's Privacy

DualCamVideo does not collect personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, such as 16 in the EU under GDPR). The App is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content.

Since we do not collect any data, there is no risk of inadvertently collecting children's information.

8. International Users

DualCamVideo does not transmit data to any server, so there are no cross-border data transfers. All data remains on your local device regardless of your geographic location.

9. Security

While we do not collect or transmit data, we take the following measures to protect data stored on your device:

All video files are stored within the App's iOS sandbox, which is isolated from other applications.
The App relies on iOS platform security features, including device encryption and app sandboxing.
The App does not implement any network communication, eliminating network-based security risks.

10. Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, correction, deletion of collected data) do not apply to our services. However:

You have full control over all videos recorded by the App.
You can delete any or all recordings directly within the App at any time.
You can revoke device permissions through iOS Settings at any time.
You can uninstall the App at any time, which will remove all associated data from your device.

11. Apple App Store

DualCamVideo is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data related to your App Store purchase and usage in accordance with Apple's own Privacy Policy. We do not have access to this data. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for more information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality or applicable regulations. When we make changes:

The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised.
For material changes, an updated version will be made available through the App Store listing.
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
